BUSINESS ECONOMICS 

Originally from Syracuse, New York, I traveled ~2500 miles to attend the University of Arizona, pursuing a B.S.B.A. as a Business Economics major at the Eller College of Management. My business journey began at my family’s real estate and development company, managing tenant billing and accounts receivable, while also ensuring tenant satisfaction through effective communication. Declaring my major at Eller College was a straightforward decision given my strong affinity for economics courses. Through my Business Economics coursework, I became adept with several data analysis and data visualization software like R, Stata, SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI. Engaging with these tools throughout my academic journey ignited a deep appreciation and confirmed my desire to utilize these skills in my future career.

 

While pursuing my degree, I joined Alpha Phi, forging lifelong friendships and honing both my leadership and teamwork skills, all while working to benefit the community. My academic efforts led to a nomination and induction into the National Society of Leadership and Success, where I continued to refine my leadership skills and developed a keen interest in continuous personal and professional development. I also worked as a freelance student tutor and an event staff member at a local resort/wedding venue, finding tutoring particularly rewarding as it allowed me to share my enthusiasm for data analysis and statistical modeling with others. 

 

Attending the University of Arizona was a bold stride towards fulfilling my academic and career aspirations, opening me up to new challenges and perspectives. Now, as I transition into the professional world, I am incredibly excited to leverage my skills and experiences to address real-world data challenges and contribute to organizational success.
